Autumn is the perfect time to get out of New York City and take a leisurely drive to the Hudson Valley. In my opinion, there is nothing that can compare with the majestic sight of fall colors draped over mountains in the distance. Spectacular views of the Shawangunk and Catskill Mountains can be best appreciated from the heart of the Hudson Valley. There are many picturesque routes and roadways to choose from throughout the region. It actually can be quite a fun adventure to get yourself lost, drive around and find a new route you’ve never traveled on before. Or, ask a local resident – they always know the best routes and prettiest drives. So today I’m sharing with you, five of my all time favorite scenic drives in the Hudson Valley.
So hit the road and enjoy the spectacular views!
