We are big fans of Field + Supply – we’ve often attended the Fall Market and talked about our visit afterwards. This year is Field + Supply’s ten year anniversary and we thought it would be fun to highlight some of the vendors participating in their Spring MRKT.
This year’s market is happening a week later than it usually does – the weekend after Memorial Day. The MRKT will be open from May 31st until June 2nd, from 10am to 6pm. The event will take place at Hutton Brickyards in Kingston.
Over 275 vendors will participate and the MRKT will host food & drink vendors as well as live music. To attend, make sure to purchase tickets online ahead of the event. Here are a few highlights that we’re excited about!
Potting Demonstrations
At 1:30 on Saturday and Sunday Zimmer Gardens will share tips and tricks about creating beautiful potted containers for your home deck or patio. If you’ve always wanted to create your own potted arrangements, this is a great opportunity to get some expert advice! Zimmer Gardens will also be selling many of the plants they’ll use in the demonstration, so this could be a good option for a one-stop shop!

Live Music
The weekend will also be a non-stop opportunity to check out some local bands and musicians! The main stage at Hutton Brickyards will play host to a large variety of acts, including blues, country rock, reggae and indy rock music. DJ Harlan will play early afternoon sets for each day of the MRKT. For a full lineup, check out the schedule on Field + Supply’s website.

Food Vendors
Some of our all-time faves will be out in force during the MRKT. Samosa Shack will serve up artisanal samosas, Eat Church is showcasing his South East Asian influenced bites, and the Phoenicia Diner will provide their hearty diner fare.
We’re also looking forward to trying out some new to us options – there will be lots to choose from!

Artisans and Vendors
Of course, we’re most looking forward to perusing the MRKT and seeing what we find! The Spring MRKT tends to be more focused on small crafts, rather than large scale furniture pieces, but there are a wide array of ceramics, textiles, soaps, candles and many other goods to admire.
If you’re looking for suggestions on who to visit, we have a few favorites taking part in the MRKT. Eleven Six produces beautiful ethically produced knitwear.
