While our projects are all currently on the west side of the Hudson River, there are many small towns and vibrant art districts waiting to be discovered on the east side of the river. Today we’re highlighting some of our favorite spots in Hudson. The photo above (taken by Hudson Valley Drone Girl) gives you a sense of Hudson’s historic vibe and proximity to the river.
Nestled along the banks of the Hudson River, Hudson is the perfect day trip from Saugerties or Kerhonkson. From its historic streets lined with eclectic boutiques to its thriving arts scene, spending a day in Hudson is sure to be fun for the whole family.
Morning Stroll Through Warren Street
Begin your day by immersing yourself in the heart of Hudson – Warren Street. Lined with 19th-century buildings boasting a mix of Victorian and Federal architecture, this vibrant main street is a shopper’s paradise. Explore one-of-a-kind antique shops, art galleries, and boutique stores that showcase the unique charm of the town. Some of our favorite stops include Riverfront Antiques & Design Center, which showcases vintage finds and unique collectibles, and Spotty Dog Books & Ale, a bookshop housed in old firehouse.

Afternoon Indulgences
As the sun climbs higher in the sky, venture into one of Hudson’s charming cafés or eateries for a culinary journey. The town’s food scene is a delightful mix of farm-to-table freshness and international flavors. Savor locally sourced ingredients at a cozy bistro or try a globally inspired dish at one of the many acclaimed restaurants. One of our faves is Kitty’s, a market, restaurant and cafe with a fun vibe and great food.
