Our last construction update on Rebus was in May and since then a lot of things have been installed including all of the windows, HVAC, plumbing, interior framing, and insulation! We’ve been happy to see a lot of construction happening this summer. With interior framing complete, we are also able to see the interiors take shape. Rebus has a floor plan with an open living, dining, and kitchen area on the first floor, while upstairs there are two bedrooms and bathrooms. Featuring only four interior doors, this home has a very open floor plan! Let’s look at some recent images of Rebus – and check out a sneak peek of what’s to come…
Construction Update Rebus
The insulation is one of the key components to making the home resistant to heat and energy loss. Properly insulating a home reduces heating and cooling costs while improving the comfort for the homeowners. Insulation in interior walls can also help to reduce noise transfer – at minimum, we typically insulate around bathrooms, mechanical rooms and the laundry room.
You may be wondering what all of those machines are for… they are for polishing the concrete! On Thursday concrete polishers came on site to evaluate how they would like to polish the floor. Polishing concrete tightens the once porous surface to keep water, oil, and other contaminants from penetrating the surface. This addition makes the floors easy to clean and low maintenance.
