Foraging your own food from the wild is an experience that combines relaxation and adventure. You don’t need to go far to find edible plants growing wild in the Hudson Valley. Our region offers many options for foraging including but not limited to wild ramps, stinging nettles, mint, fern fiddleheads, wild carrots, dandelion, milkweed shoots, wild garlic, wild berries, a variety of mushrooms, and so many more!

And for all of those urban foragers out there – like so many people I know! – there’s nothing like a quick trip to Ravenwood Farm Shop for picking up some amazing local fruits, veggies, and so much more!
