We are so close to Kingston and love coming here all the time. From the main street to downtown by the water, there are so many fun shops, restaurants, and cafes to check out. If you’re looking for recommendations in other areas, we’ve already written a blog on what to do in Woodstock and New Paltz. Follow along Saturday in Kingston for some shops to check out next time you’re in town!
We started our Saturday by heading to Outdated, Antique Café, this store is super charming with its antique collection on sale by the front of the café. The vintage lights are so fun and it’s always interesting to rummage through their collection. Here I got an iced tea to get myself ready for the day.
After getting our fuel, we headed out with no plans besides stopping into any store that caught our eyes. Here’s a few of the places we walked into!
Lovefield Vintage
I love this store for all of its colors, textures, and variety. If only they had my size for these shoes. I picked up a pair of fun sunglasses here after looking through their racks of clothing.
Hill Valley Candles
We popped by Hill Valley Candles, which we mentioned in our candle maker’s blog post and bought a candle and candle holder.
Capital Vintage
We popped into Capital Vintage which has an amazing collection of glassware and claw clips.
Kingston Bread + Bar
We then stopped at Kingston Bread + Bar where we got a little snack to keep us going. We shared their cardamom bun and tahini miso cookie, they were both delicious! I absolutely love cardamom in bakes goods so the bun was a favorite for me. We also got their sourdough baguette to enjoy once we got home.
There are so many other stores to support in this area and we only mentioned a few! After hanging out in the shops, we headed to the downtown area where we went to Brunette Wine Bar to have some snacks and sip some wine.
Brunette
I love this wine bar, it is so elegant I always feel transported to Europe. The tasteful bites compliment any wine on the menu.
Kingston Wine Co
To walk off the wine and grab some to go, we headed to Kingston Wine Co. They have a great selection of wine.
I grabbed this bottle of orange wine, then I bought some carrot muffins from Rosie General. They’re both pictured on top of this super fun beaver handkerchief I picked up at Sassafras Mercantile!
I had such a fun day in Kingston and this has been by no means an exhaustive list so please let us know where you go in Kingston!
