Summer in the Hudson Valley is so magical, musical, bountiful, and beautiful! We’ve written plenty of posts about what you can do in the Hudson Valley in the summer, including where to swim and hike, where to relax at a brewery, and more. For this blog we wanted to think of other activities you can enjoy this summer – like picking your own produce!
U-Pick Farms
Dubois Farms & Tavern
Open Wednesday-Sunday 10am-5pm at 209 Perkinsville Road, Highland, NY 12528.
Catskill Mountain Lavender
Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm, Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm, from July 8-August 6. Be sure to go before the season ends!
Kelder’s Farm
At 5755 US-209, Kerhonkson. In addition to picking some of your own produce, there are also a few attractions, including petting farm animals, playing mini-golf, and more so it’s perfect for a family trip.
Mead Orchards
15 Scism Rd, Tivoli, Fridays 9 am- 2pm, Saturdays and Sundays 9 am – 3 pm with free parking and entry. There are blueberries to pick this weekend!
Saunderskill Farms
5100 US-209, Accord, open Tuesday – Sunday from 8 am – 4 pm. We love Saunderskill for their apple cider donuts, but you can also pick up lots of fresh produce.
Rose Hill Farm
19 Rose Hill Farm, Red Hook. “Malwina” strawberries and “reka” blueberries are ready to pick!
We hope you check some of these farms out! I’m planning on going to one this weekend so you know that a recipe is coming soon 🙂
