What to do in upstate, NY this Memorial Day Weekend
To start off this weekend, the spring market for Field + Supply is from May 27th-29th. Field + Supply will have over 200 makers, live music, food, DIYs and demos. The team at Studio MM who designs our houses will be displaying a project they’ve been working on. They’re collaborating with The Hudson Company and Braxton Alexander to auction owl houses with all proceeds going to Ukraine.

If you’re looking for a place to get flowers or other plants be sure to visit the annual plant sale at The Farmers’ Museum.

In New Paltz there’s an Art and Crafts Fair Spring Show where there’ll be music and lot of vendors sharing their artwork, and everything else from Hudson Valley crafted beers, cheeses, etc.

If you’re looking for something more activity based with a mix of relaxing and playing with children, head over to Storm King Arts Center on Sunday to create a branch kingdom organized by the Freestyle Arts Association! Every family will create their own fort creating a kingdom when they all come together.

For live music in a more intimate setting, head to Opus 40 on Saturday at 5:30pm for a performance from El Milagro Verde. The group mixes Peruvian folk music with music all over Latin America.
