Searching for Land in the Hudson Valley

We’ve been searching for land in the Hudson Valley lately as we plan for our next HV Contemporary Homes community.  You might think it’s better to wait until spring blooms, but winter is actually one of the best times to look for property. Without the cover of trees, you can get a clear picture of what the views are, where the neighbors are situated, how the property looks in bad weather…

There are many land parcels available in the Hudson Valley and they can vary greatly depending on size, views, water features, etc.  – these are all things we consider when looking for the perfect spot for our next community. When walking properties we sometimes use apps to help us see the property and contour lines of the site. We’re always interested in the topography and terrain of the land, as both come into play when designing site-specific homes that are connected to their surroundings.

We’re planning something a little different from what we’ve done in the past for our next HVCH Community. We’ll be sharing more on our vision for these new homes later this year.
