March Construction Updates at Catskill Terraces

Now that the official start of spring is just around the corner, we’ve started seeing more activity at Catskill Terraces. We’ve been busy talking to potential clients about purchasing land and have sold two more lots! Construction at IRIE House continues to make great progress, and we are gearing up to start our next project – Quattro!

Land at Catskill Terraces

We recently sold two more parcels at Catskill Terrace – Lot 2 and Lot 3. This means that all four lots along Huckleberry Terrace have been sold! We still have one parcel remaining on what we call the Lower Terraces. It is a beautiful wooded lot with a gentle slope that falls off just below the house site. It will has the potential for some great Hudson Valley views!

We also still have land available on our Upper Terraces! Three of the four lots are still available for purchase. They feature larger acreage and promise a variety of Hudson Valley and Kaaterskill Wild Forest views. This includes Lot 7, which showcases Catskill Terraces’ best 180 degree view of the Hudson Valley!

IRIE House Construction

The lot that has been sold at the Upper Terraces belongs to IRIE House. We’re making steady progress on construction and since our last update in January, the interior and exterior spaces have continued to move along! On the interior, cabinets are being installed, tile has gone in and we’re finessing a few drywall details prior to another coat of paint. Our clients are working on paint selections and stonework on the fireplace should start very soon!

On the exterior, the screen porch is nearing completion. We love this space! Siding install is wrapping up, and we’re looking forward to seeing the siding clad garage doors in place soon!

Quattro Stake Out

Finally, we completed our initial stake out for Quattro just last week! We are clearing trees this week to make sure the site is ready for us to start construction later this year. We met our clients and our excavation subcontractor Kim Kiniry and his team member Ryan to mark out the corners of the house. We laid out the new path of the driveway and talked through the expected views of the Kaaterskill Wild Forest and Hudson Valley from each of their spaces. It was so fun to see our clients imagining their home on their property – and we can’t wait to get started!
