Today we’re sharing recent construction progress on our latest custom home under construction at Waterfalls Properties, Cat Hill.

Construction Update March: Cat Hill

Our contractors are making progress despite the snow and cold temperatures we’ve been facing in the Hudson Valley the last two months. You can see from the aerial photo below, there is a built up enclosed space below the main outline of the house. That area will be the garage.

The idea is to complete the garage and close it up so that our team has a heated space to work in. This way, they can cut material and prepare for framing the house. Once the weather gets warmer, they can pick up where they left off and continue to put up the framing for the remainder of the home.

The Cat Hill site presents a bit of challenge because it is not all level.  But that’s part of what makes this project so exciting! You can see our contractors have used strings to lay out the hallway which will run down the hill to the fitness studio. They have also now started to frame the fitness studio.

To give you a better idea of where the hallway and floating fitness studio will be placed, we superimposed a sketch over a photo of the actual site below.
