It’s been a while since we’ve had a construction update for Chalet Perche so there’s lots of progress to share with you today! Our team of contractors has finished the framing and the concrete floors have been poured. In the video and photos below you can see the home is really taking shape now!
Modern Home Under Construction: Chalet Perche
Most of the house will have a finished wood floor but the concrete floor in the foyer was poured and polished last week. In the photos below you can see the plastic tubing for radiant heat. This tubing was tied to wire mesh before being laid down on the slab base. As the concrete was poured, masons pulled the mesh up towards the surface of the slab allowing it to settle in the perfect spot for optimal heating under the polished surface.
