Construction Update November: Hill Road Black

 
Our contractors have been moving quickly on Hill Road Black, the first of our Hill Road Houses under construction.  You may remember from our last update that the foundation walls had been framed up and were ready for concrete.  After the concrete for the foundation walls was poured, our contractors then began working on framing the house.  The radiant heating system was installed under the concrete floor (click here for more on why we use radiant heat in our homes and how it works!), and even some rough plumbing and electrical have been installed as well.

And the best news of the week – our contractors were able to get the roof framed and sheathing on before last Friday’s storm dumped ten inches of snow!
