Summer Party in the Hudson Valley

We recently held a small get-together at the Lantern Ridge House to celebrate summer.  We set up the grill and invited some friends and neighbors to come over for cocktails. It was a beautiful evening to watch the sunset from the back deck and feel the cool breeze in the front courtyard. Good food, gorgeous location and great conversation is all you really need for a fabulous party – it was very fun evening for all!

And what better place to have a summer party than the Lantern Ridge House, a home designed for indoor-outdoor entertaining:

Four sliding glass doors off the main living space enable easy access to the outdoors. Both the front courtyard – a perfect place for gardening, outdoor dining, relaxing in a hammock or socializing around the fire pit – and wrap around covered deck provide ample outdoor areas for entertaining and relaxing. Two doors on either side of the dining area can be opened up to allow a continuous flow through from the courtyard to the covered deck sheltered by a continuous wood ceiling which centers views on the scenic mountain landscape.
