We have made fantastic progress on Quattro! In our most recent update in November, we had just started framing – the house has definitely come a long way since then.
Framing continued through the winter. It was great to see the “popped up” clerestory roof slowly take shape after the lower volumes of the home finished framing.

Steel columns that support the carport roof and the east facing deck overhang were installed not long after, enabling the additional roof framing to take shape.

Roofing was installed next, allowing windows to go in. It always changes a house so much to see it all closed in!

Up next was the rough-in stage. Plumbing, HVAC and electrical all have to be installed prior to insulation and drywall. This phase always takes a long time and a lot of coordination! During this time, framers were also working on the subfloor installation for the portion of the house with wood floors.

After rough-ins are in place and we’ve confirmed that everything is correct, the house gets insulated. The whole team stopped by shortly after the insulation install was complete – we also were able to check out the polished concrete floors in the new art studio space!

During this time, there are always a few last things to coordinate before drywall hang begins!

The septic tank – a key component of the septic system for the project – was delivered and installed. It takes some serious machinery to move this piece around!

Drywall was delivered about a week ago, and the drywall hang was completed late last week. In the meantime, siding and soffit prep work is in progress. We recently got a sneak peek at the finished siding – we can’t wait to see it installed!
