Framing is underway at Kaat Cliffs! We’re excited to share recent progress on this modern home we’re building at our Saugerties community, The Cliffs at Kaaterskill.
After framing is complete, we’ll be pouring the concrete slab. Usually, the concrete slab would be poured before we start framing. But since it can be problematic to pour concrete in extremely cold temperatures and we didn’t want to delay construction, we built the frame of the house first (as we often do when building homes in the winter) and are waiting for warmer weather to pour the slab.
