Custom Home Design + Construction Process: Cat Hill
Cat Hill is a custom-designed modern home set on a densely wooded site at our Waterfalls Properties community in the Hudson Valley. The home’s design focuses on relating to nature in different ways from different vantage points. We took advantage of the site’s dramatic changes in elevation and designed a home where you can experience moments of shifting perspective throughout. We worked very closely with our Cat Hill client to design a custom modern residence that is both ideal for the site as well as uniquely designed to fit her lifestyle.
From the initial concept, Cat Hill was designed around the idea of special moments – whether those moments capture a specific view of the Catskills or present a treasured piece of art that carries memories of past adventures. Our Cat Hill client continued this concept even after she moved in by curating the furniture and textile selection for her home.
Ultimately, Cat Hill is a celebration of our client’s past accomplishments and meaningful life experiences, with plenty of room for new memories.
